New Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Siege Event Turns Players Into Legends Of Japan

0

Ubisoft has just announced Rengoku, a new limited-time in-game event that will be available in Rainbow Six Siege between Tuesday, April 26th and May 17th. Among other new features, players will be able to explore the area control game mode with Kiba loading and fast respawn, features that make the gameplay even more dynamic and action-packed.

Set in Japan, Rengoku features a temple in the sky where the operators are spirit-possessed samurai warriors who fight for the honor of the gods and eternity. In the new version of the Skyscraper map and in 5v5 mode, players from each team will need to stay close to the altars scattered throughout the scenario for five seconds in order to gain control points or take them from opponents. The location of these control altars changes every two minutes and the first team to reach 300 points wins the match.

In this operation, players will be able to use Kiba explosives, which destroy the enemy in just one attack, in addition to shotguns and pistols. Fuze, Osa, Rook and Thunderbird can choose between Fire or Poison Kiba, while Twitch, Ziofia, Kapkan, Bandit and Maestro have Flashback or Knockback Kiba at their disposal.

The event also features the Rengoku Collection, a set of Operator uniforms, helmets, weapons, and cards, and a Battlefield Spirit set that includes weapon skins, accessories, talismans, and backgrounds. The Rengoku Collection Pack can be purchased by completing special event quests for 300 R6 Credits or 12,500 Fame. Individual packages cost 1680 R6 credits each.
