The impressions of the first two games of the flag of the new console.
With a little leadership in front of the new Nintendo Switch 2 console, we got the opportunity to try to play at this console at the German headquarters of Nintendo. Here, in a pleasant environment, along with other media from around the world, we could play full versions of two starting names throughout the day: Mario Kart World and Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour. Since the new console is practically the evolution of its successful predecessor, I did not expect any great surprise. But this happened in the end.
Mario Kart World
Simply put, this is really a big change after many years of playing the Nintendo game in low resolution and fluidity simultaneously turn on the new Mario game and see modern graphics, almost comparable with other modern consoles: 1440p and 60FPS, including support for modern effects, such as HDR or dynamic lighting. Game content also helps a strong impression: the area and rendering of the distance of local tracks located in one giant open world or the number of vehicles on the highway: not only 24 competitors, but also passengers of “civilian” vehicles on some additional lines. In short, sitting in front of a modern TV and watching this game in action was quite shocked after many years with the first switching.
However, with every hour of the game, my admiration for the game only deepened, here designers and artists enjoyed. Madly brightly colored tracks set on all kinds of topics (space costumes, zoo, etc.), filled with rams, jumps, in the environment of dynamic obstacles and completely active enemies or monsters, immediately reminded me of autumn guys (here you can fall deep, some of the tracks are absolutely cruel in this regard) or even Astro Shoe) Shoe Crazy. Even the whole track or landscape can be naked, as alive.
After many years, with the first switch, it is quite shocking.
One of the most beautiful tracks was, for example, a turquoise ice cave full of thought. The same wild and diversity as the local environment or tracks were also applied to the competitors themselves, so, for example, at some moment I was overtaken by a dolphin on a motorcycle (later I unlocked it as a game figure and immediately my beloved). Of course, you must be careful not to step on a living -sizes from a tyrannosaurus on the highway. Among the many diversity and details, I also noticed that the player’s car can get dirty from dust or other substances on the highway, which even more deepens the impression of the residence of this world. But the real variety, size and technical experience are most appreciated when you jump out of the racing to wander free of charge (Freeroam), and find that the entire playing world is one huge interconnected playground, after which you can smoothly move from one place to another. From one place you can see several tracks and biomes at the same time and go to them. In addition, there are scattered bonus mini -games with awards in the landscape, so the overview of this world is worth it. Visibility is also impressive by the fact that you also see vehicles at a distance, including their lighting road with your own reflectors. Your car may even swim on water, so the water surfaces are also an area for reconnaissance or racing. When I saw a hill about how green grass was a wave in the wind, I immediately began to dream of how the next Zelda on this console would look like.
Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour
HRA-neHRA, which is designed to represent new functions and functions of the Switch 2 console, is surprisingly serious about Nintendo: its color stylization is moderate and gives the impression of serious technical presentations, and not, as a rule, wild game processes that we expect from Nintendo. But he hides a number of mini -games, under which wild ideas will come. For example, you will play the original Super Mario Bros in the original resolution, but without any kind of zoom that looks wild on the 4K screen than you could imagine. This is one of many puns that demonstrate in this case how much the console resolution has increased. Another minihra will allow you to guess with a moving object, how much FPS is animated, from 30 frames per second to 120 frames per second. Another minihra will allow you to try Joy-Con in a new mouse position, which works very easily and accurately. Another minihra demonstrates physics modeling.
Unfortunately, in an attempt to allow us to access this mini -game as soon as possible, representatives of Nintendo prepared a stored position, where almost all stops in the game are already unlocked. But the biggest fun in this case can be quite wandering through an unexplored “mannequin of a giant switch 2” and open one after another one control, connectors and other details. We also tried an external stand with the camera, where we were most shocked, how wide the picture was: although we stood around the table for four, the camera managed to take all four faces and dynamically project them on our characters in the local multiplayer world of Mario Kart World.
