Wondering how to get to Crown Gems in ESO? Here’s what you need to know.
MMORPGs usually have multiple in-game currencies. It can be difficult to know where to get them and where to use them. Maybe you have accumulated a solid amount of premium in-game currency, head to the in-game premium store and find out that you can only buy the item you want in another currency. An experience players encounter in The Elder Scrolls Online.
ESO’s primary premium currency is the Krone. They are used to purchase various cosmetics, braces, pets, and other gadgets, but their use rarely affects the game as a whole. The Crown Jewels differ slightly in that they can only be obtained in a certain way. Like Crowns, Crown Jewels are used to purchase cosmetics and consumables, but only in the Crown Crates section of the store.
Players will be able to trade Crown Gems, even choose items they can request but not receive from the Crown Crate. However, it should be noted that the more special the item, the more Gem Crowns you will need to hit it.

Crown Jewels can only be obtained from Crown Chests. When you open the Crown Chest and get the item you already have, you will have a chance to convert that item into Crown Gems. Players can also remove Crown Gems from unwanted items received through Crown Crates.
In that regard, it opens up some wiggle room with Crown Crates, as you’re rarely guaranteed to get what you want.
To remove Crown Jewels from the unwanted Crown Chest, select “Gem Extraction” from the Crown Chest menu, then select the consumables you wish to extract the jewels from and choose “Delete” or “Delete All”.
