Free Fire’s most iconic tournament, the Free Fire World Series (FFWS), is back in May! The long-awaited world event will be held for the second year in a row in Singapore, on Sentosa Island. FFWS 2022 will be an exciting event for fans and players starting May 14th when teams come together to compete for a $2 million prize pool.

In the months leading up to FFWS, amazing matches took place around the world. Now the best players and teams are one step closer to the coveted title of the best in the world. This year’s World Championship will focus on the players who win the competition and earn their rightful place in the FFWS 2022 Sentosa.
The FFWS 2022 Sentosa theme “Rise to Heroes” epitomizes the resilience, courage and hard work required to reach the pinnacle of success. The banner of the competition, which features a spotlighted trophy, depicts the recognition and moment of triumph that the crowned champions of the championship will experience. The sunset in the background also represents the coast of Singapore, the location where FFWS 2022 Sentosa will take place.
Meeting the best in the world
FFWS 2022 Sentosa will bring together 18 of the world’s best teams and players from 11 different regions in the quest to become Free Fire World Champions. The qualifying round will begin on May 14, in which 10 teams will compete against each other. The top four teams at this stage will join the regional tournament champions, for a total of 12 Free Fire World Championship finalists.
Teams will compete for 6 rounds on 3 maps to become champions and points will be awarded based on round ranking and kills.

Brazil at the World Cup
Last Saturday, on the 16th, LOUD became the champion of LBFF 7 and, therefore, already automatically qualified for the final of FFWS 2022, which will take place on May 21st. While Vivo Keyd, who finished 2nd in the table, will take part in the qualifying round on May 14th. Together, both teams had 11 Booyahs and 117 kills in the LBFF Finals and reached the World Championship with more potential to represent Brazil.
