BEAST: False Prophet features rich storytelling and deep, tactical, off-grid gameplay, offering multiple ways to strategize and defeat your enemies on the battlefield. The game is currently in early access, with the game scheduled for full release in early 2024. In addition to the studio’s name, False Prophet now serves as the game’s subtitle due to its deep connection to the plot. Throughout the protagonist Anton’s personal journey throughout history, he must uncover the truth among many lies – hence the title “The False Prophet.” The game takes place during the turbulent period of the Middle Ages and is inspired by Carpathian legends. In BEAST: False Prophet, there is only a lesser or greater evil.

BEAST: False Prophet offers two main ways to play: play it safe and focus on team-oriented tactics, or unleash the Beast and go for an all-out brutal attack. Both have pros and cons, so you’ll have to choose wisely depending on how things unfold on the battlefield.

If you’re careful, your allies can gain various buffs. Once your madness meter reaches its limit, you have the ability to transform into the Beast, allowing your inner demon to emerge, giving you access to devastating attacks that rip your enemies to pieces. Becoming a Beast gives you more power, enemies become less predictable and gain additional abilities.

BEAST: False Prophet has over 26 Beast skills, 60 weapon types, 16 companions, 45 playable missions and tons of content to enjoy during the 40-hour gameplay. The game is also available in multiple languages, including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Simplified Chinese and Polish.

The second major update for BEAST: False Prophet is now available for free and includes many new features.

Features of BEAST: False Prophet:

• Train or exorcise your inner beast: Will you choose to play it safe and support your allies, or unleash the Beast? Both have many strengths and weaknesses, and it’s up to you to decide when the right time for each tactic is.
• Strategic and deep gameplay: Choose from a variety of different skills and abilities and engage in intuitive turn-based combat as you maneuver across the gridless battlefield. You have a limited number of action points each turn, so use them wisely!

• Rich and dark history: The focus is on a narrative in which characters are both realistic and morally ambiguous. The game is set during the Dark Ages in a world inspired by the Carpathian Mountains, and players must choose between a lesser evil.

• Squad: You don’t have to take the risk alone. THE BEAST: The False Prophet gives you access to a squad of loyal companions, each with different skills and abilities. Will you work alongside them or consume them to improve your Beast skills?

BEAST: False Prophet is available in Early Access on Steam and GOG and is compatible with Steam Deck. The game will have the biggest discount of 40% as part of the Steam Winter Sale, which starts on December 21st. Players who purchase BEAST: False Prophet in Early Access will be considered early adopters and will receive free in-game skins, a digital art book, and other items.
