Warner Bros. Games reveals Quan Chi’s gameplay in Mortal Kombat 1 in new trailer

Quan Chi was born in a mine in Outworld and was accustomed to hard work from an early age. He had no future, only the guarantee of certain death in the dark tunnels. Fearing for her life after being betrayed by her fellow miners, Quan Chi’s life was saved by a mysterious benefactor, and in exchange for his service, she offered to free him from the mines and teach him dark magic. The new trailer puts Quan Chi’s necromantic abilities and portal manipulation on full display, including his ability to summon skulls, skeletons, and demons from the Underworld for devastating attacks.

The trailer also introduces Chameleon, a new DLC fighter partner who can help out during matches with a range of support moves. Viewers will also be able to see Peacemaker, the next guest fighter from DC’s Suicide Squad and the Max Peacemaker series. features the voice and likeness of actor John Cena and will be available as part of the Kombat Pack and for standalone purchase in February 2024.

Additionally, on December 14, Mortal Kombat 1 will debut Season of Cryomancer, a new season of content celebrating the introduction of Sub-Zero as the main boss in Raids mode. Season of Cryomancer features new challenges, story elements, and boss battles, plus over 150 seasonal rewards earned in Raids and Battle League.

The Mortal Kombat 1 Kombat Pack includes the Jean-Claude Van Damme character skin for Johnny Cage (available now); one-week early access to six new playable characters – Omni-Man (available now), Quan Chi (December 14), Peacemaker (February 2024), Ermac, Homelander and Takeda Takahashi; and five new Partnership fighters (release dates for the next characters and Partnership fighters have yet to be confirmed). The Kombat Pack is now available as part of Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition for Rs 169.90 or separately for Rs 39.90.
