Honor of Kings, the world’s most popular mobile MOBA, is hosting a community tournament sponsored by technology company Intel. A Intel Cup will begin on December 9th and will offer a total prize pool of R$23,500. The tournament will feature influencers Daniel “Tealzlol” Menezes and Leonard “LeoVeio” Yahata, who will be key leaders of the competition. A Intel Cup – a public tournament for Brazilian football players. Honor of Kings. The registration period for the tournament begins today and ends on December 8th. Up to 256 teams can participate, and registration can be done through the HOK Club platform. To participate in the tournament, players must reside in Brazil and be over 18 years of age, and must register as a full team.
The initial stage of the tournament will take place on December 9 and 10. The teams will be divided into two groups, each representing one of the influencers – Tealzol and LéoVeio. Up to 128 teams will compete in a best-of-one, best-of-three (MD3) format. The two finalist teams from each bracket will compete in best-of-five (MD5) matches to determine who will be crowned champion in the pool finals. The top team from each group will represent one of the influencers in the Grand Final, which will take place in a best-of-seven (MD7) series of matches.
The bracket final will take place on December 16, and the grand final will take place on December 17. To kick off the Grand Finals, Tilzol and LeoVeyo will compete in a best-of-three (MD3) match in Mini Rift mode. The winner of the match guarantees his team the advantage of victory in the grand final. After this duel, the influencers take on the role of “coaches” of their teams, motivating their players in the preliminary stages of each match. The winner of the tournament will receive the majority of the total prize fund of R$23,500.
The prize will be distributed as follows:
- 1st place – R$ 11,750
- 2nd place – 5875 reais
- 3rd place This 4th place – R$ 2350 each
- MVP – 1175 reais
The final bracket and grand final of the Intel Cup will be broadcast live on the official Honor of Kings Brasil YouTube channels, with presentation and narration by Toboco and commentary by the Kurama Show.
