Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. introduced 4 new characters who will join the cast of fighters TEKKEN™ 8, including one of the fan favorites, Devil Jin, the powerful and cursed alternate battle form of protagonist Jin Kazama. In addition to him, Zafina, Lee Chaolan and Alisa Bosconovic are returning to the franchise. Finally, a new character, Panda, has just been announced as the 30th of the 32 available fighters.
TEKKEN 8 will release on January 26, 2024 on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam® and is available for pre-purchase in Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate editions with bonuses for each. Also available is a limited premium collector’s edition that includes collectibles including a 10-inch Genie figurine, a vintage King of Iron Fist arcade token, a Leroy Smith metal ring and more.
Developed on Unreal Engine 5 by Bandai Namco. TEKKEN 8 promises to be responsible for the biggest achievement in the fighting game franchise. The series introduces a new “aggressive” combat system that keeps combat at an all-time high and rewards players who keep attacking. The sequel to the legendary fighting game, developed by Bandai Namco Studios Inc., will be the most visually impressive in the series. TEKKEN 8 Uses Unreal® Engine 5 to bring new weight and atmosphere to the game’s combat, with each character updated with stunning detail and new dynamic, destructible environments.
The final two fighters of the 32 characters will be revealed tomorrow (2nd) and 12th November. Below is a brief look at the newly announced fighters.
Devil Gin
Devil Jin returns as “Dark Wings of Ruin”, the demonic side of Jin coming from the Demon Gene in his blood and the embodiment of him living with his sins. Devil Jin’s appearance matches his name, and his fighting skills surpass human capabilities.
Lee Chaolan
Lee Chaolan fights using martial arts, but his true power comes from his Purple Suit, a unique battle outfit that uses sophisticated technology and attacks that reflect his “Silver Haired Demon” persona.
Alisa Boskonovitch
Alisa Bosconovitch is a “Destruction Automaton” developed by the brilliant scientist Dr. Bosconovitch. Alice’s combat skills rely on her highly mobile flight suit and arsenal of technological weapons.
Zafina
“Mystical Stargazer” Zathena brings back her unique fighting style, based on her warrior heritage and the spiritual abilities of a mystical astrologer. His methods are as old as his lineage: he uses ancient killing arts in his attacks.
Panda
Panda’s nickname “Beautiful Protector” comes from her dual duties of being Ling Xiaoyu’s pet and bodyguard. She uses Heihachi’s advanced style, Kuma Shin Ken, as her fighting style.

release date TEKKEN 8™ It’s close, and another fighter has just arrived in the game. Frenchman Victor Chevalier, voiced by actor Vincent Cassel, is a new character in the franchise and the 31st fighter to join the cast of the King of Iron Fist tournament.
In the game, Victor Chevalier is a living legend who founded the independent UN forces. Descended from a line of renowned knights who dreamed of helping those in need, he followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the French Navy before joining the UN.
Sensing that the world was on the verge of being dominated by a corporate giant, he founded and trained the Raven Force, a military force that has the power to act at will in the fight against the armies of private corporations. Armed with a fancy suit and the latest optical weapons, Victor takes on the mantle of leader of the UN forces and prepares for battle.
