This weekend we received the sad news that a very important person for our team has passed away. One of our investment partners, an important part of our projects, left us unexpectedly.
The news that took us by surprise came shortly after we started crowdfunding Tales of Shadowland, a fundamental step towards developing the game and getting the community involved in our dream. It was even one of the most important moments for us at Uzmi Games as it reflected the evolution of ToS and the fulfillment of our pre-set schedule.
With what happened, we had to rethink all our plans and make some very difficult decisions for everyone. Among them is the reduction of our team and the postponement of the official launch of Tales of Shadowland, which directly affects the issue of crowdfunding, which has a reward line that will be affected not only in terms of the set deadlines, but also with the rewards offered. In this whole situation, we have decided to maintain the transparency that has always guided our work and have decided to fully refund all amounts raised through Catarse.
We have come a long way with this project and we are not going to give up, we will just slow down to get to the end result. The game is in alpha version and this is very important for its development, which will not stop.
