British actor Mark Williams is another confirmed name for the world’s biggest pop culture festival, which runs from November 30 to December 3 at Sao Paulo Expo.
Known around the world for his role as Arthur Weasley, the father of Ron Weasley’s character in the Harry Potter films, the actor will be in attendance on December 2nd and 3rd.
The program of events, including participation in the Thunder Stage and Photo & Autograph sessions, will be announced by the organization at a later date.
Fans of the actor have been looking forward to this meeting for many years. Williams was already confirmed to participate in the 2019 tournament, but at that time he had to postpone his participation.
The actor began his career in the film Privileged (1982), produced by Oxford University for Film Fund students, in which he starred alongside colleagues Hugh Grant and Imogen Stubbs.

With a career spanning more than 30 years and appearing in 24 TV series and films, he has appeared in projects including Doctor Who, 101 Dalmatians and Red Dwarf.
Since 2013, he has played the title character Father Brown in the BBC series Father Brown, based on the stories of the writer G. K. Chesterton (1874–1936). A success with viewers in the UK, the series has already aired for 10 seasons and is available on Prime Video. It was recently extended for a new season, originally scheduled for the first two months of 2024.
