South Korean developer and publisher Pearl Abyss is very excited to celebrate the sixth anniversary of Black Desert Online in South America today. To mark this milestone, the Black Desert community will host a series of in-game events offering a wide range of valuable items.
Themed buffs, birthday crates, Hot Times events, and the chance to discover hidden treasures are a way to thank players for their support over the years.
Black Desert Online will be holding a special anniversary broadcast on their official YouTube and Twitch channels today at 20:00. The sixth anniversary concert will be hosted by [GM]Bolz and [CM]BleuArnette, with activities that will give adventurers a chance to earn rewards.

DIVE INTO A VARIETY OF EXCITING EVENTS
Black Desert Online has prepared several in-game events for everyone to have fun. Do not miss the opportunity to participate and receive rewards.
- Exclusive flags of South America: Until August 2nd, players can use the Anniversary Coupon to receive a South American themed flag and a special 6th Anniversary Box. The à La Carte Accessory Chest contains unique headwear and other rewards such as the Council of Valks (+60) and Cron Stones (x600).
- Hot Time Event: Until July 19, players will be able to enjoy the Hot Time event, which will increase combat experience by 1000%, drop rate by 50% or more.
- Treasure Hunt Event: Until July 19, players will have the opportunity to explore additional hunting zones to get valuable treasures such as the Mysterious Map Piece, Upgraded Compass Piece, and Onette/Odora Elixirs.
- Joy 600 silver coins: Until July 18, players can receive important items daily, including Ancestral Spirit Powder, Old Moon Prosperity Scroll Chest, Shakatu’s Luxury Box, Cron Stones, and more. These items can be obtained for 600 silver coins.
- Shakatu’s Secret Store: Until July 26th, players can send workers to Shakatu’s Secret Shop and enjoy the rewards of Shakatu’s Secret Chests.
- Birthday GM: The in-game birthday party will take place today, July 12, at the GM Mansion in Land of Dawn.
