Diablo IV Opens Season of Evil in July, New Classes Debut in Diablo Immortal

DIABLO IV STARTS THE SEASON OF EVIL

In our latest livestream, Assistant Game Director Joseph Piepiora, Game Development Lead Timothy Ismay, and Associate Community Director Adam Fletcher talked about the season’s content, which includes new missions, new characters and enemies, new powers, the first season quest, and the first battle. Pass.

In keeping with the tradition of previous Diablo games, Diablo IV Seasons will provide all players with the opportunity to experience the Season Journey from the ground up with new features and added gameplay mechanics. Since all players will have the same chance, they will be able to try new classes and builds that they find interesting, or go on an adventure during the season using their favorite class / build, discovering seasonal mechanics that create new experiences.

In order to level up a new character, it is not necessary to start from scratch, because it retains the previous renown gained by opening the map and the benefits of Lilith’s Altars that the player has already found. Also, if you have already unlocked the mount, you can immediately use it with a new character. At the end of each season, all characters will be transferred to the Eternal Realm, where they will be permanently available to players.

SEASON 1 DETAILS

• Live a new adventure: A new threat is roaming the world in the form of Evil Monsters. Team up with Cormond, an ancient priest, to stop the spread of Evil at all costs.

• Fight invasion: Destroy these Evil Monsters by removing their corruption and imprisoning their Evil Hearts, which can be inserted into rings and amulets.
• Zero Prior Experience Required: New players will be able to join Seasonal Realms, play through the main campaign to learn the basics, and then enjoy seasonal content and new systems.
• They will also be able to move Season Quest and Battle Pass. Avid players will be able to create new characters and experiment with new builds and classes as they progress through the Season Journey. Seasons are a whole new way to customize characters and develop their abilities as they face end-game challenges.

• Day of the Season: This is a multi-chapter goal system that rewards players for completing each chapter. Over the course of seven chapters, you benefit from rewards as you progress through the Battle Pass.
• Battle Pass: By gaining Favor, playing Normal, or purchasing additional Level Jumps, players will receive rewards as they complete Battle Pass levels. The Battle Pass has a free tier where everyone can get seasonal bonuses to speed up their progress. If the player decides to purchase a paid rank, they will also be able to receive exclusive Battle Pass cosmetic items.

DIABLO IMMORTAL GETS BLOOD KNIGHT

Enter Diablo Immortal and bare your fangs with the Blood Knight, the 7th class coming to Sanctuary. See MAIN MAIN:

• STORY: All Knights of the Blood are trained in the ancient style of spear fighting, mastered by their order in Gea Kul. They have supernatural powers and an ethereal connection to each other, but must perform rituals with their mystical memories to keep them from turning into monsters.
• MISSION: Participate in the rituals that turn the damned into Blood Knights and learn about the torment they endured while fighting their curse.
• SUPERNATURAL POWERS: The Blood Knight is a hybrid melee class that devours the life energy of enemies, trapping them with conjured shadows and destroying any resistance with typical knight polearms.
  • Skills such as Edge of Shadows, Cloud of Bats, Drain Blood, Abomination, and more allow Blood Knights to slash and steal life from their enemies and even turn into real monsters.
