Meet the Game Jam Magalu Calls
Brazilian developers will be able to take part in a 48-hour Game Jam online game, which will be held in partnership between BIG Festival and Magalu. Competitions will be held from 24 to 26 June. Contestants will enter the competition in two different categories: independent studios and developers; and they will be able to develop any type of game within the theme that will be launched at the beginning of the competition.
Games will be judged by a jury composed of members appointed by Magalu and BIG Festival, in accordance with the terms of this competition and the rules of the event. Applications are accepted until 23:59 June 17 on the BIG Festival website. Each category has prizes for first and second place of R$ 12,500 and R$ 5,000 respectively.

Ripio is selecting game projects with Blockchain integration. Game developers can submit applications that: Have asset tokenization using Blockchain Have innovative mechanics using Blockchain The total development cost of which is no more than BRL 500,000 The total development time of which is no more than 10 months The selection finalists will present themselves to the jury during the BIG Festival and the winning project will receive 20,000 BRL and Ripio support for blockchain integration and/or tokenization. Nordic Game Discovery Competition – Season VI
The 6th Nordic Game Discovery Contest will take place during BIG Festival 2022. This time the contest will take place in a new format, where participants will compete live in a round-robin online battle on points.
Developers of all sizes can submit their games to the competition, allowing them to showcase the potential of their projects at different stages. In the competition, the participants will present their games, try to highlight their strengths and do their best to impress the judges, who will award points to the participants in each round.
