One step away from a dream: amazing Karim ‘Karimisbak’ Neveryou give up only at the very end eSeries A TIM and leads Hellas Verona FC eSports to become the vice-champion of Italy. The triumph goes to Juventus Dsyra with player Danilo “DaniPitbull” Pinto winning 2-1 in a somewhat tongue-in-cheek final act for Karim.
However, the Betclic Apogee received significant consolation. In fact, Karimisbak was awarded the MVP of the competition, crowning an extraordinary journey that began long before this season.
Hellas Verona and Juventus have just faced each other in the semi-finals. In the winners’ bracket, Karimisbak proved himself 2-1 and went straight to the final. Instead, DaniPitbull won the loser bracket and then “avenged” the previous loss.
However, this is a historic result for Hellas Verona FC eSports, who have already secured a pass to the final phase for the first time in their third participation in the eSerie A TIM. A high-altitude journey that ended in a climax, but which makes both Karimisbak and Hellas Verona realize that they can always play it with anyone.
Karimisbak joined the Veneto team early in the season, following a partnership between Betclic Apogee and Outplayed Gaming, with the latter able to look to loan the Betclic Apogee boys. By virtue of a pre-existing agreement made by Outplayed Gaming itself with Hellas Verona FC eSports, Karimisbak wore a yellow and blue kit and is currently proving his worth with exceptional performances.

Founded in 2017, in 2022 Betclic Apogee became the first esports team in the world to achieve Carbon Neutral certification. The team consists of players from three countries – Italy, Portugal and Poland – who participate in national and international FIFA competitions. The team has several national and two European titles.
