How to Unlock Honkai Star Rail Trial of the Equilibrium Quests
To upgrade Honkai Star Rail Balance, you need to complete the “Test of Balance” missions. To unlock them, you must first increase your pioneer level. For every Pathfinder Threshold you reach, you will receive a quest to complete the Failing Balance Test. You can follow this quest if you don’t know where the crack is. There will be six Trials of Balance available at launch, which you can unlock at the following Pathfinder levels:
- Balance Trial 1 – Level 20 Pioneer
- Trial of Balance 2 – Level 30 Pathfinder
- Balance Trial 3 – Level 40 Pioneer
- Balance Trial 4 – Level 50 Pioneer
- Balance Trial 5 – Level 60 Pioneer
- Balance Trial 6 – Level 65 Pathfinder
Upon arrival, you will be faced with an entire squad of monsters that you must defeat in order to earn the coveted Honkai Star Rail balance level. While we don’t know which monsters you’ll be up against in each of the challenges, we do have an indication based on the beta, as seen in this YouTube video by Devin Money, of what the Equilibrium challenge might look like:
- Battle 1: Ice out of space x1 and Everwinter Shadewalker x2
- Encounter 2: Burning Predator x1 and Burning Shadowwalker x2
