The trading card game Genshin Impact is holding its first major HoYoverse-sanctioned tournament called Cat’s Tail Gathering and the top eight winners will receive real money prizes. If you consider yourself an experienced duelist in the Genuis Invokation TCG anime game, don’t miss this opportunity to earn money while having fun.
Tournament hosted by Community Tavern courtesy of HoYoverse. Registration started on April 17 and will run until April 23, but there are a few rules and eligibility requirements you need to meet before you can show off your skills.
First, you must reach TCG player level 4 or higher to unlock the ability to play against other players. All players should also be able to stream to Discord and record their screens as the tournament finals will be recorded.
To register, you need to join the Genshin Impact Tavern Discord server and then enter the “#Register” channel in Cat’s Tail Gathering S1. Fill in the form with your registration information and get ready to play in the qualifying rounds from April 24 to 30.

The knockout tournament will take place from May 8 to 13 and these are the prizes offered to the first eight places:
- Champion: $1,000.
- First runner-up: $600.
- Second place: $300.
- Fourth place: $100.
- Fifth-eighth place: $50
Each server (Asia, America, Europe) has its own prize pool and players will be distributed based on their location on the server. For more information, you can consult the official Taberna publication.
If you manage to secure a spot in the TCG tournament, you’ll have plenty of time to spend some of that prize money on Kave and Baizhu in the second half of Genshin Impact version 3.6 if you run out of Primogems.
