If you’re a fan of PlayStation platformers, this Steam sale, which includes the excellent game Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, is for you. You also get to pick up some stellar PlayStation remakes and all I can do is tell you about the deals and about each game; The rest is up to you.

That’s right, many classic games remastered for PlayStation and a phenomenal sequel are available at a deep discount on Steam, so the prospect of turning your $1,000 gaming rig into a 90s machine and platformer mascot is a reality. . It also helps that each of these sets are certified firecrackers; I will not answer questions.

Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon Offer on Steam

You can get each of the listed PlayStation classic games individually at a discount, or pay for all three (but technically seven) games in one go, and both deals are pretty good.

  • Lucky 7 Pack – $38.15 / £33.38.
  • Crash Bandicoot 4 – $19.99 / £17.49
  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy – $15.99 / £13.99
  • Spyro Trilogy Relaunched – $9.99 / £8.74

That means a savings of about ten bucks or £10 if you buy the bundle instead of each game individually (assuming you don’t already have one on Steam) on top of the individual discounts, so it’s definitely a good deal for fans of the game. platform games.

If you haven’t played Crash Bandicoot 4, then Is the time you do (haha) as Toys For Bob managed to avoid two decades of mostly bizarre Crash sequels and create the ultimate modern pet platformer. With great character animations, a warm aesthetic, and some of the hardest and most imaginative platforming challenges (with a big curveball), Crash 4 is simply excellent from top to bottom. All the new mechanics like the skins also fit in nicely with the traditional 90s design, with plenty of additional unlocks, skins, and challenges to keep you busy as well.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is a very good prequel to Crash 4. Although it doesn’t have the same art style and design that the latter is taken directly from the original platformers, this trilogy is still fun to play. . It can be a little tricky, but Crash 2 is worth tackling on its own and I don’t think it’s arguable to say it’s the best of the three.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is also an excellent remaster of the classic PlayStation game, receiving the same treatment as Crash Trilogy, with updated visuals and music, but the gameplay remains intact. Each game is a fairly simple platformer with open-ended and collectible levels, but the atmosphere, music, and pure 90s charm complete this game.

You can find the set on their own Steam page, you have until April 18 to pick them up at these prices.
