According to recent sales estimates, sales for Genshin Impact Ayaka and Shenhe banners hit an unexpected high during the second half of 3.5. Both Cryo users are popular, but Ayaka has already taken full control of the anime game’s character banners and was available for over a month when development was affected by COVID-19. As a result, players have had plenty of opportunities to get their hands on him. And Shenhe, on the other hand, has a very special role in his cryosupport role.
Players who missed out on Ayaka during the extended release of 2.7 have had plenty of time to save up for Ayaka and Shenhe, this time after HoYoverse released disappointing Dehya and Cyno posters – the #FixDehya movement is still going strong, even with new revolving banners.
While the high sales are a bit unexpected, they are not entirely surprising. Ayaka remains one of the best basic Cryo DPS options on the list, and you’ll see her rank high on most Genshin Impact tier lists even today.
Shenhe, while much more limited in its use, is the perfect complement to Ayaka. This means that players who already have basic DPS will likely be looking for support this time around, and both weapons are powerful, especially the Ayaka Mistsplitter Reforged sword.

As you can see above, Ayaka and Senha managed to earn around $25,015,306 (£20,194,606) after two weeks into the second half of Genshin Impact 3.5. This puts them in the top 5 in terms of sales of other banners during the same period.
You have just under two weeks to say goodbye to the Cryo duo before newcomers Baizhu and Kaveh become available in the banners in the second half of Genshin Impact 3.6.
