We’ve all seen the adorable photo Valorant B dating sim lead developer “ImABeeBop” snapped of Gekko’s adorable sidekick Partner (otherwise below). With one of the classic weapons in FPS games, we’ve all wondered what it would be like if the Wingman could take down an opponent with the Operator. New Valorant patch notes show that as of March 32he can do just that.
The Wingman operator is the highlight of this (very real) Valorant patch, but there are a host of other changes that will shake the shooter to the core.
The friendship ended with Vandal
First, the fact that the vandal was completely removed from the store. Valorant has had a long debate over which rifle is the best, so Riot cut out the middleman by completely removing the Vandal from the store.
As the lead of Phantom, I don’t care about that; in fact, I laugh in the face of everyone who told me it was a shoddy gun. Who’s gonna play from below now? I don’t.
Jett says brr
Another major change is the fact that everyone’s favorite Valorant character, Jetta, now has a dash on a 0.5 second cooldown. You’ve heard of Sonic the Hedgehog, right? Jett is basically the same, but human and much faster.

Agent Updates
- Wingman can now pick up and fire weapons.

competitive upgrades

Game System Updates
- Shots while spawning will now hit the enemy.

- Jet Dash is now based on cooldown instead of charge, and the cooldown is now set to 0.5 seconds.

As I mentioned, I think these changes are very beneficial to the game and won’t have any negative effects, although it might be worth checking out our Valorant tier list if you can no longer rely on your vandalism abilities.
