Nick Apostolides reprises his role in Resident Evil 2 Remake (2018) as Leon Kennedy, this time as a seasoned veteran on a mission to rescue the president’s daughter. After his experience as a rookie cop in Raccoon City, Leon is much more confident this time, as he can handle himself better in battle.
Lily Gao also returns in Resident Evil 4 as Ada Wong, an agent on a mission to help Albert Wesker in his search for a specimen of a species of recessive cork. Speaking of Wesker, Craig Burnatowski is now the voice of an evil villain spreading viruses. Wesker’s appearance in Resident Evil 4 Remake has been kept under wraps, but now we have confirmation of his return. He may recognize Burnatowski as Wallen in the third season of Watch on Apple TV+. He also voices various supporting characters in video games such as The Division 2, Watch Dogs 2, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Genevieve Buechner will play Ashley Graham. Unlike the original game, where Ashley played a rowdy damsel in distress, Buechner gives the character a new level of confidence that she didn’t have before. Buechner is best known for her role as Maddison in the series Unreal which ran from 2015 to 2018. She is also new to the cast André Peña, who plays Dr. Luis Serra Navarro, an undercover biologist working in Valdelobos. This is Peña’s first role as a voice actor. Prior to his role in Resident Evil 4 Remake, he was known for his work in various short films.
