Diablo 4 Borrows One Of WoW’s Greatest Features And I Love It

As Diablo 4 falls back into obscurity after an exciting beta campaign, one of the best loot features in an RPG is akin to World of Warcraft, Blizzard’s ever-expanding epic MMORPG.

I’m a hoarder, it’s true. As I roamed the Diablo 4 beta dungeons, killing enemies and collecting tons of awesome gear, I found myself constantly overwhelmed and wishing I had a bigger backpack. While Diablo 4 lacks the Tetris inventory of Diablo 2, I constantly run into too much gear, especially since the drop chance of legendary items has also been increased this weekend.

While I avidly collect all the Legendary items I can, it’s easy to overlook them or toss them out of my inventory to make room by mistake. Fortunately, the developers thought of that and borrowed one of the best features from World of Warcraft so you don’t miss a thing (like Aerosmith).

As pointed out by u/Japi-21 on Reddit, if you lose a legendary item while hunting, it will be sent to you automatically. You will be able to access it through the inn room hideout (huge treasure chest) where it will appear in the “missing items” tab.

This works similar to WoW’s Postmaster, the NPC responsible for shipping all the items that can’t be rewarded because your inventory was full. There’s a similar feature in Destiny 2, so it’s good to see the developers implement something similar in Diablo 4.

The comments in the thread are the same, with one player writing that they “think this is an awesome feature” and another commenting that it’s perfect when “you get disconnected before you can pick up the loot”.

It’s a small change, but one of many that brings the classic dungeon crawler into the modern age. devil 4 it feels as an update. This it feels like something new for a historical series, and that’s one of the things that makes it so exciting.
