Hogwarts heirs keep you company while you study at the famous school, sit next to you when you drink in Hogsmeade and fight with you, fighting the dark wizards and the terrifying evils of the wizarding world. Your companions are also not defined by your House, as you will befriend each of these characters to develop their individual story.
Hogwarts Legacy has a huge amount of content. The massive open-world Hogwarts Legacy map is absolutely stunning, and the attention to detail that has gone into the world’s design can be seen from the landscapes to the common rooms and classrooms. There are plenty of Hogwarts Legacy characters to meet, and that’s where Hogwarts Legacy Companions come in, as four classmates are especially important to your RPG time.
Who are your Hogwarts Legacy classmates?
There are four Hogwarts Legacy Companions in total. All of these companions are part of the Hogwarts Legacy cast and history, rather than simply choosing friends from your Hogwarts Legacy house. So while Harry, Ron, and Hermione may have all been Gryffindor students, you can expand your friendship pool across all four houses, making the most of each of their unique and useful traits, even if it means you’ll be competing for house. Natsai Onai
Natsuy Onai is your fellow Gryffindor and is naturally strong, brave and determined. She’s in a revenge arc, seeking justice in just about everything she can, and as such, she’ll be the first to take on the villains.

Sebastian Sallow, as can be guessed from his alliterative name, is a Slytherin. Sallow’s story arc includes the Dark Arts and even the Avada Kadavra curse; he even puts you in a big decision about whether or not to use it. However, the reason Sallow is so interested in the Dark Arts is because her twin sister has been subjected to a Dark Curse and he is looking for a way to cure her, and her knowledge will surely come in handy for both of them.

Poppy Sweeting, as her name suggests, is by far the sweetest and kindest companion and of course a Hufflepuff. Her loyal and patient nature helps her with the fantastic beasts of the world, for which she has a special passion, and she befriends many different beasts from the Hogwarts legacy. Some of these creatures can even help you in combat, for which we have Sweeting to thank.

Amit Thakkar is the guy who will go with you if you become his friend in Ravenclaw, as he is wise and aspires to be a magical historian. You will become much better friends with him in astronomy class where he will lend you his telescope so you can use it with all the astronomical tables scattered around the map.
What do Hogwarts Legacy classmates do?
Once you have made enough friends with your housemate, they will help you out in some way. Poppy Sweeting, for example, doesn’t exactly help you in combat, but she has a skill with creatures that will help you recruit and befriend centaurs, nifflers, and graphorns. Meanwhile, Nsui Onai is your partner who will be by your side in battle, helping you defeat dark wizards and other powerful enemies. Hogwarts Legacy multiplayer isn’t available at launch (although Hogwarts Legacy mods wants to add that feature), so your companions seem to act as an extra set of hands while they craft some detailed stories.
