News of FFXIV patch 6.4 will arrive ahead of the March release, as developer Square Enix tells us the FFXIV Live Letter 76 date for the manufacturer’s next live stream. These regular broadcasts are usually hosted by Game Director Naoki Yoshida and Community Producer Toshio Murouchi, who will likely spend several hours talking about everything that’s going to happen to the popular MMORPG in its next major update.
The game’s seventy-sixth “Live Producer’s Letter” will mainly focus on FFXIV 6.4, the next major patch after FFXIV Endwalker, as the team prepares for the next full expansion. The team usually uses this first Live Letter for a new update to preview all the major features and content we can expect, while the next Live Letter contains more detailed gameplay demos.
So we still don’t know everything that will be in the 6.4 patch for FFXIV, but we do have some details. First off, Yoshi-P has previously stated that players can expect big updates to FFXIV Island Sanctuary in 6.4 after a small series of additions in the previous patch. This should satisfy players who have already mastered all aspects of a casual farming game.
We also expect to see many standard additions appearing in the new FFXIV patch. This includes a continuation of the main story quest, moving ever closer to the story of FFXIV 7.0, and will likely include at least one dungeon and challenge along the way. The Pandemonium Raid series is about to reach its zenith with the last four battles and the brutal levels that come with them.
There’s also a good chance we’ll see another of the new Variant and Criterion dungeons, repeatable and repeatable FFXIV story instances, and new ways to upgrade your Manderville weapons. They will likely appear in patch 6.45 if they are included in the update, but they will likely still be mentioned during the live stream.
