Destiny 2 Vexcalibur Legend difficulty is frustrating for players

Destiny 2’s Vexcalibur Legend difficulty mission offers a lot more challenges for casual players than they bargained for, according to a Reddit post with over 1,500 upvotes. The response to Destiny 2’s current questline comes amid difficulty concerns that have plagued the FPS game since the release of Lightfall. The Destiny 2 Vexcalibur Exotic Glaive quest is called “//node.ovrd.AVALON//”, more commonly known as “Avalon”, and must be completed by Guardians to obtain Vexcalibur Catalysts.

Reddit user Ancop reported his experience on the DestinyTheGame subreddit, where he also shared a screenshot showing 23 deaths and over 1,000 victims of this activity. The player also shares his outfit, which includes “Divine Cataclysm, Witherhard and a mini tool created by MW, MM Artificie, full armor with Lorelei covered in everything to help you survive longer, sun resistance, energy boosts, emergency stacked on solar mods. .” waves, spheres of power restore health This should be a solid workload for the average player doing complex activities.

The responses to the original post suggest that other players also found the content too difficult. People share anecdotal stories of how they fought to accomplish a mission, both as part of battlegroups and alone.

“The game should be fun and not bother me. For some reason Bungie doesn’t seem to get it,” 360GameTV added to the Redditor discussion.

“No one gives [expletive] on the proportion of players abusing grappling hook cooldowns. WE WANT TO ENJOY THE GAMES WE BOUGHT,” Philly_ExecChef wrote in the thread, referring to Destiny 2 Strand’s subclass trapping mechanism fixed as part of yesterday’s patch.

One problem seems to be that players who start out as a full squad and lose one player are unable to add another Guardian, making the Legendary Mission more difficult as players get frustrated and leave the action.

Perhaps one of the biggest problems with Legendary quest difficulty is that it prevents weaker players who have paid for Lightfall from accessing content that would normally be much more accessible. Prior to Lightfall’s release, Destiny 2 game director Joe Blackburn suggested that the development team would “bring the challenge back to Destiny” in a lengthy blog post detailing the difficulty changes, among other things. However, these changes seem to have frustrated players with the difficulty of the game.

Many Legendary Patrols and Lost Sector reports are too complex. The Vexcalibur Legendary quest that people must complete to unlock weapon catalysts is the most recent activity where players are complaining about difficulty levels. While the best players of the game don’t seem to have as many problems, average casual gamers have problems with the content they have paid for.

On the other hand, Destiny 2’s Nightmare Root challenge mode has been criticized for being too easy, with more games completed within a time limit than all other Destiny 2 raids combined.
