Wild Hearts’ first major update will bring a shiny new Kemono and matching talisman that will give players yet another addition to their skill list. The new monster hunting RPG patch also includes some practical crafting and modding improvements, along with a wide range of bug fixes and some balance changes, including buffs to various Wild Hearts weapons.
A new addition to the Wild Hearts monster roster is the terrifying Hellfire Laharback. This gigantic and ferocious ape-like beast seems to be related to the Lavaback family and currently terrorizes Natsukodachi Island. If you manage to defeat this powerful beast, you can obtain a new talisman “Hell Strike”, which increases the chances of setting your enemies on fire and also increases the power of attacks against flaming monsters.
Numerous weapon buffs are also included in the patch, with the Bladed Wagasa, Maul, Bow, Nodachi, Claw Blade, and Karakuri Katana among those seeing the most tangible improvements. However, Karakuri’s staff has been reduced a bit due to too many executives. On top of that, you’ll now be able to see your character’s full list of abilities for all parts during armor crafting, weapon crafting, and armor modding, making it easier to keep track of which build you’re on.
Major bug fixes and adjustments include fixing an issue that prevented rewards from being distributed correctly after certain Giant Kemono fights, as well as removing karakuri that can contain food during Minato’s battle to ensure they are not destroyed. accidentally. There are also many individual bug fixes, so if you run into an issue, be sure to check out the full patch notes to see if it was fixed.
The team also notes in the accompanying blog post that it is “dedicated to Wild Hearts and we will constantly work to improve the gameplay throughout this year.” He notices that The second Wild Hearts content update is scheduled for March 23 when Grimstalker arrives on Azuma, along with new armor and weapons to craft after the fight.. The team adds that “more Kemono will be heading to Azuma in April.”
