The toughest boss in Genshin Impact defeated by AFK Dehya

This Genshin Impact player managed to defeat Azhdha, the toughest boss in the game, with the help of Dehya, while in an AFK state. HoYoverse released community stats last year for the anime game’s second anniversary, and Ajdaha was named the boss who killed the most players. Beating him like Dehya without moving a single muscle is impressive to say the least.

With the release of Genshin Impact version 3.5, you might have heard that Dehya is kind of an aimless character with a lot of flaws, basically playing like a tank in a game where he’s of little use. But tanking is something she can do well, so it’s almost impossible to kill her with the right build.

To defeat Ajdaha in AFK, a Chinese player gave Dehya a set of ocean-colored clam artifacts and a Claymore bell, a weapon hitherto considered useless by the community. This increases the user’s HP, but no Claymore user needed this HP increase until Dehya came along.

The bell also creates a shield whenever the user takes damage, providing even more protection. The Sea Clam artifact set deals damage whenever a character heals, and Dehya heals himself when health is low.

So even in AFK, this cycle of taking and dealing damage lasted around 45 minutes until Azhdha finally died from slow HP loss and possibly boredom. One day, Dehya dies, but Barbara’s C6 revives her, continuing her eternal cycle. You can watch the full time-lapse video below.

Dehya and Cyno are both in the current Genshin Impact banners, so you can get the new five-star Pyro if you want to try it yourself.
