The Sons of the Forest release date is right around the corner, and developer Endnight plans to release their new horror game on Steam Early Access for players to try, test, and help refine before full release. With new weapons, companions, and more detailed design than its 2014 predecessor, we’re all looking forward to the Sons of the Forest release date. So gather your friends for multiplayer, head over to the Valve Store, and gear up – that’s when Sons of the Forest comes to PC and Steam.
When will Sons of the Forest be released?
Update February 23: Sons of the Forest is now available on Steam. It was scheduled to release on Steam and PC on February 23 at 10:00 am PDT / 1:00 pm EST / 6:00 pm GMT / 7:00 pm CET. and is now available for purchase. This is where to get it.
The most played game on Steam before launch, surpassing even Bethesda’s Starfield, now that Sons of the Forest is here, you’ll find plenty of people to play with. Be sure to check out the Sons of the Forest map beforehand. We don’t want you to get lost.
Please note that Sons of the Forest was released as an Early Access game, which means that some areas and items may not be complete. If it’s a bit complicated or buggy, don’t worry: Endnight has plans.
“There’s a lot more we want to add,” says the developer. “Items, new mechanics, game balance and more. We didn’t want to delay again, so we decided to involve the community in the further development of this project and keep the release date of February 23, but release it in Early Access instead.
