Invincible is a first-person narrative game based on the cult novel of the same name by the world famous science fiction writer and Polish futurist Stanisław Lem. Changes fully complies with the development and design philosophy of 11-bit studios. A unique narrative based on the interplay of altered versions of the same genetic individual, Yang is an ordinary human trapped on a failed space mission, trying to find his way home and mend his shattered life in the process. The player must understand the strengths and weaknesses of Yang’s altered personality – her alter animation – and creatively balance the dynamics between them.
Each alter’s life branches out into different stages and ages, making them different individuals despite their identical DNA. In all respects, they are people driven by their own motives and torn apart by their own emotions. They made different decisions, maybe one made mistakes that the other didn’t, and looking at who each changed in the end becomes perhaps the players will ask who They could have been had they acted differently.
