Aurora Shores for Way of the Hunter will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on February 23, 2023.
As a newly minted wilderness soldier, your mission is to conserve the region’s natural resources. Immerse yourself in the wild and meet 14 different species, from Kodiak bears to Roosevelt Elks and more. As a soldier, you must manage a fragile ecosystem by controlling the population of certain species for the benefit of others. Discover the diverse beauty and open world habitats of Aurora Shores, from lush grasslands to towering mountain peaks and dense rainforests. Despite the harsh winters in Alaska, this region boasts breathtaking scenery all year round. Explore the peaks of the Nianuk highlands and the vast rainforests of Aivuka and experience the idyllic charm of this unique desert.

Along with the Aurora Shores expansion, you’ll receive a free update to the Way of the Hunter base game that introduces a new weapon class: crossbows! The grasslands of Aurora Shores are full of life and wonder. Gray wolves and red foxes, scoter and wild ducks, even the Alaskan elk itself… Any hunter will find worthy prey here. The incredible variety of Aurora coasts is fully present here, in the highlands. Hunters will face not only severe weather conditions, but also a variety of rare prey, such as Roosevelt elk and wood bison, which are waiting for both experienced hunters and ferocious predators.
