astronomy tower
Follow the sign to the top of the Astronomy Tower in the Keys of Daedalus side quest to find the key. It will descend from the top of the tower to the classroom.
downtown room
In the central room, this Daedalian key floats in the north corner. Walk past the statue in the middle and you’ll find it on the left, opposite the greenhouse door.
lower clock tower
This key and the following Daedalian key cannot be accessed until you have Alohomor, which is also required for the Faculty Tower key below. Enter the Clock Tower through the door next to the Duel Wands area, go up the stairs and turn left. The key is at the end and will go up one level behind a locked cabinet.
top clock tower
Go straight up to the top of the Clock Tower – You can cross the hallway from the Faculty Tower/Hospital Wing if you don’t go up from below. In any case, this key is located directly under the exit from the corridor of the teacher’s tower and flies into the hospital wing.

At the top of the stairs in the hallway, the key flies into a cabinet leading down the stairs and onto the east wall, next to the boar statue.
college tower
You won’t be able to access it until you start the quest Caretaker’s Moon Lament when Gladwyn Moon teaches you the Alohomora. As you fight your way through the Faculty Tower in an attempt to find the two Demigiz statues, you’ll head up the stairs with the prefect facing the opposite direction and looking at the number puzzle.
Sneak up to activate the Daedalian key and it will fly down the stairs that will take you to the locked cabinet directly below.
grand staircase
Go up the front staircase from the foyer (the one where the steps gradually open up) about two-thirds of the way up. It is next to a painting of an old wizard with a white beard. The key runs to the cabinet by the fireplace flame next to the Hogwarts Legacy digital puzzle at the bottom of the front stairs.
grand entrance
Quickly go to the great hall and look to the opposite side of the room. The Daedalian key flies past the fireplace. You will return to the fireplace flame and go up the stairs to the right to find a locked cabinet.
Library
Enter the library through the left door from the central hallway, then turn left. This key is easy to find between two shelves, to the right of the fireplace. The house token it will take you to is in the opposite corner of the library, on the far right.
north room
Entering from the side of the Preobrazhensky courtyard, it is next to the stairs next to the globe in front of you. You will go up the stairs, past the Castle Treasure Cache, to the portrait of a woman playing a drum.
potions lesson
Quickly head to the Potions classroom and go through the classroom door; a key flies right outside the classroom entrance. Go down the spiral staircase next to him and the locked cabinet will be at the end of the hall.
quadruple garden
From Quad Courtyard Foo Flame, turn right past the snake fountain, then up the three small stone stairs behind it. The Daedalian Key floats above your head.
viaduct entrance
Make your way to the fireplace flame in the viaduct courtyard, then cross the bridge and enter the viaduct entrance. Turn left and under the stairs you will find the Daedalian Key, which will lead you to a locked cabinet at the bottom of the first staircase in the middle of the room.
How to Open Hogwarts Daedalian Legacy Key Cabinets
To open cabinets with Daedalus keys, you need to find the nearest flying Daedalian key and follow it to the cabinet, then insert it into the lock. Whenever you find a place with a huge locked cabinet, there’s a good chance there’s a Daedalus Key nearby. Keep listening to the flapping of little wings, as if you were expecting the sound of a golden snitch. When you have placed all 16 tiles in the chest, your reward for completing the Daedalian Keys quest is a Relic House uniform for the house you have chosen.
