ABOUT Paramount+ announced today that STAR TREK: PICARD joins the Paramount+ catalog as part of a new deal with Prime Video. Premiere of the third and final season of STAR TREK: PICARD February 16. Previous seasons of STAR TREK: PICARD will also be available on Paramount+. In addition, Paramount+ will soon be presenting a new season of Star Trek: Lower Decks. All seasons are currently available on the platform.

STAR TREK: PICARD features Patrick Stewart reprising his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, which he played for seven seasons on Star Trek: The Next Generation, and follows this iconic character into another chapter of his life. LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Jerry Ryan and Michelle Hurd play alongside Patrick Stewart.
The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. Season 3 is executive produced by Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Patrick Stewart, Heather Kadin, Aaron Byers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Arniokoski and Dylan Massin. Terry Matalas is the showrunner for the third season.
STAR TREK: LOWER DECK focuses on the support crew of one of Starfleet’s finest ships, the USS Cerritos. In 2380, Ensigns Mariner, Boymler, Rutherford, and Tandy must go about their duties and lead a social life, often while the ship is rocked by a series of sci-fi anomalies when the Starfleet crew reside on the “lower decks” of the USS Cerritos. This edition includes Ensign Beckett Mariner voiced by Tony Newsom, Ensign Brad Bauimler voiced by Jack Quaid, Ensign Tendy voiced by Noel Wells, and Ensign Rutherford voiced by Eugene Cordero. Starfleet characters include Captain Carol Freeman, voiced by Donn Lewis, and Commander Jack Ransome, voiced by Jerry O’Connell.
STAR TREK: LOWER DECKS is produced by CBS Eye Animation Productions, the animation arm of CBS Studios; secret cache; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman of Secret Hideout, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth of Roddenberry Entertainment, Kathy Krenz (219 Productions) and Heather Kadin serve as executive producers along with creator and showrunner Mike McMahan. Aaron Byers (Hideout), who brought McMahan on board, also serves as an executive producer. Tit (Big Mouth), an Emmy Award-winning independent animation company, serves as the series’ animation studio.
