The next season of Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder is coming up. This new competitive season in Blizzard’s favorite RPG introduces eight new rune words that unlock new possibilities for your builds as you race to reach level 99 as quickly as possible. Blizzard has now provided a start time for the new season, so you can be ready to jump in just in time for Diablo 2’s Resurrected Ladder Season 3 start date.
The timing of the launch of the new ranked season will depend on your region. The new season begins in North America February 16th V 5:00 p.m. PST / 8:00 p.m. EST. In Europe, this means February 17th V 1:00 a.m. GMT / 2:00 a.m. CET. The new season begins in Asia February 17th V 10 a.m. KST.
Blizzard reminded players to double check their shared caches for any remaining loot from the first ranked season. Currently, any remaining loot from the first season is available in the general supply in a special “drop only” tab marked with an “approved” flag. Once Season 3 launches, this tab will be cleared and will only contain Season 2 loot. In other words, if you have any Season 1 gear stored there, be sure to claim it before February 16.
The 2.6 update for Diablo 2 Resurrected is out the day before, bringing changes to Terror Zones: you’ll be able to play it in offline games as soon as it’s available, though the hours are slightly different than online Terror Zones.
