Konami Digital Entertainment BV announced a partnership with an Italian telecommunications company open fiber who arrives as an official sponsor Italian efootball cup. Thus, Open Fiber becomes the first and main partner of KONAMI’s latest e-football initiative.
Open Fiber will become an integral part of the eFootball Italia Cup and will be visible in play during the KONAMICI tournament, as well as contributing to the final prize pool, designed to create a state-of-the-art multimedia gaming area to be installed in the winning club’s youth facilities.
eFootball Italia Cup, we remind you that this is a new eSports tournament in which seven partner clubs of the KONAMI roster take part: AC Milan, AC Monza, AS Roma, Atalanta BC, FC Internazionale Milano, SS Lazio and SSC Napoli.
In the tournament, three different types of players will team up to represent each of the competing clubs. A selected player from the youth teams of the participating clubs, a professional player who is currently part of the club’s esports team, and a club fan selected in the KONAMICI online qualifier.
