LCS apologizes to all TSM fans

Organizers LCS extension with an official statement, they apologized to fans TC extension for footage shown before the match between TC extension AND 100 thieves. The video traces a long history Double lift, a former TSM player, is now on the 100 Thieves team. This note:

“Before last week’s matchup between TSM and 100 Thieves, we aired a snippet of the LCS broadcast that talked about the long history between Doublelift and TSM. We hoped this article would highlight a key aspect of the game (Doublelift’s first game against his old team since returning from retirement) in a way that would be of interest to the fans.

Unfortunately, this segment did not meet our content standards, for which we apologize to current and former employees and players of TSM, Doublelift, and the LCS community. This was a failure on our part, and LCS will apply a stricter filter to our editorial segments in the future.

Broadcasting LCS is a team effort. When we make mistakes in transmission, it is not the fault of one person. Ultimately, we are responsible for the content of our programs. LeTigress, as a valued member of the LCS team, continues to have our full support and we sincerely regret the negative impact our mistake has had on her.”
