Los Grandes, the second largest organization in Latin America by the number of fans, has officially announced the admission of coach Luis “Peacemaker” Tadeu to their CS:GO team. One of the best coaches in the current Counter Strike: Global Offensive scenario, Peacemaker has worked for great teams such as: Mad Lions, Team Liquid, Heroic, Complexity Gaming and most recently Imperial Esports. The coach’s arrival has received the support of EstrelaBet, the team’s sponsor, and represents a new moment for the organization in the modality, where he will be responsible for scouting for new talent and evaluating possible signings for the competitive calendar of the year.

Peacemaker in Los Grandes will strengthen the CS:GO team
According to Rodrigo Terrón, board member of the organization, the arrival of a new coach is an important step for the team for 2023: “Counter Strike is a modality that Los Grandes wants to further develop and validate this new year. We have taken a major step with the acquisition of Team oNe and now we have enlisted one of the greatest coaches in history to lead this project. We believe that the peacemaker has the necessary experience to come and help our team get closer to great things.”
Having been present in the competitive Counter Strike scene since 2002, Peacemaker is 35 years old and has also played as a player, leaving his career as an athlete in 2015 to focus on his new moves as a coach. Winning everywhere he goes, the coach won several titles, including CEVO Pro League Season 9, TOYOTA Master CS:GO Bangkok 2018, Flashpoint Season 1, and qualified for more than 3 majors. According to the coach, the Los Grandes proposal was very attractive due to the fact that it was planned within the modality.
“Planning and internal structure with long and short term plans are very important for a coach when it comes to leading a team. I’m very happy with the incentive Los Grandes gave me to take this project even further by participating in the world’s top CS:GO competitions and getting a real chance of winning a title in each of them. Along the way to the top, new work will be done to realign the organization to a new position within the modality, being a benchmark in and out of the game.”
In October 2022, Los Grandes completed the acquisition of Team oNe, one of Brazil’s most traditional esports teams. With the move, the organizations have consolidated their operations and together they already have several titles in CS:GO, including ESL Premier de CS:GO, ESEA Season 37, WESG South America and more.
