Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a big visual upgrade, but no CDPR. The creator of the most downloaded Witcher 3 mod has announced that it is currently in development for his next project, Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked. CD Projekt Red’s full open-world RPG project should be one of the best Cyberpunk 2077 texture overhaul mods in the entire game, and some of the work has already been completed and can be seen in the trailer.
Modder ‘Halk Hogan’ has already made a name for himself among fans of CDPR games. The Witcher 3 HD Reworked tops the all-time fantasy game download list, with 5.3 million downloads since its release in 2015, double the next highest bid. It became so popular that after discussion with the CDPR, it was included in the official deluxe edition of The Witcher 3.
Hulk Hogan is hard at work on a similar redesign for the recently released next-gen version of the game, aptly titled The Witcher 3 HDRP Next-Gen Edition. That hasn’t stopped them from turning their attention to CD Projekt Red’s latest series though, as they’ve shared a two and a half minute trailer showcasing their work in progress on the Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked project, which you can watch below. .
“This game definitely deserves some love,” says Hulk Hogan, “I’ve been working on this project for a short time, but as you can see, some of the work is already done.” They say that the initial version 1.0 will focus on revamping “various low-res textures to make them noticeably more eye-catching.” [while] preservation [the] quirky art style.
