Corsair AIO cooler update brings fan upgrades and more

Regardless of the size and specs you choose, choosing a Corsair AIO cooler for your system is one of the easiest ways to lower your CPU temperatures and even add some extra RGB flair to your PC. Now, the company is updating two of its models with the best PC fans and some other improvements.

While the Corsair iCue Elite Capellix XT and LCD XT are already top contenders for the best AIO cooler you can buy today, they’re going to get better with the introduction of the company’s AF RGB Elite fans. Naturally, they come with all the bells and whistles you’d expect, including PWM-controlled speed, eight addressable RGB LEDs, zero-RPM mode for quiet operation, and Corsair AirGuide technology.

Both coolers are also pre-applied with Corsair XTM70 premium thermal paste, which should provide improved thermal performance compared to the previous solution. You also won’t have to worry about compatibility issues with today’s best gaming processors, as each comes with sockets that natively support LGA1700 and AM5 sockets.

However, you will have to shell out a significant sum of money to get your hands on either model. The Corsair iCue Elite LCD XT starts at $259.99 / £279.99, but the Capellix is much cheaper at $179.99 / £189.99.
