Update: You can read all about the Fortnite Dragon Ball collaboration with Piccolo and Gohan here.
Epic Games announced a new Fortnite Dragon Ball collaboration and also announced the release date for the anime/battle royale crossover. This follows the incredibly successful Fortnite Dragon Ball collaboration late last year.
New Fortnite Dragon Ball Super Crossover is coming on January 31and it doesn’t seem like Epic Games said anything about the collaboration other than a rather vague tweet, but I’m looking forward to Fortnite skins and such.
The latest Fortnite Dragon Ball event featured skins, an adventure island, challenges, weapons, and other cosmetics, so it goes without saying that the success of that event will be replicated here one way or another, so get your Fortnite V -bucks. Ready.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed the small red symbols on the ship that represent the Red Ribbon Army in the world of Dragon Ball Super and the latest Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero movie. This has led many to speculate that the likes of Gohan, Piccolo, Cheelai, and possibly Hamma 1 and 2 could make an appearance at the event, and possibly even as skins. However, this has not been confirmed for the Fortnite Dragon Ball Super collaboration.
There is an unconfirmed image of Gohan, Piccolo and Cell. The Superhero connection has a lot to do with Gohan and Piccolo, if nothing else, so I’m sure those characters will make an appearance, perhaps with cosmetics from the last event coming back to the fore as well.
This is all happening before the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 2 release date as we are still in Chapter 4 Season 1 right now.
If you need help getting into multiplayer with the new Fortnite collaboration Dragon Ball, we’ve got a breakdown of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 1 map, as well as a preview of the Fortnite Augments.
