Some of Redfall’s system requirements have been lowered since its recent appearance on the Xbox Developer_Direct showcase. For now, we only know the minimum specs for an FPS game, but developer Arkane Studios will be posting their list of recommended hardware from the shadows soon.
There’s plenty of time to make sure your gaming PC is ready for Redfall’s release date, but don’t forget to check your co-op partners’ systems as well. Fortunately, you don’t need the best graphics card or other top specs to dive into this vampire shooter.
These are the system requirements for Redfall:
Minimum | advised | |
I KNOW | windows 10 64 bit | to specify |
---|---|---|
CPU | Intel Core i5 8400 AMD Ryzen5 1600 |
to specify |
RAM | 16 GB | to specify |
GPUs | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 AMD Radeon RX580 |
to specify |
video memory | 8GB | to specify |
storage | 100GB | 100GB SSD |
Unlike Redfall City, there are no nasty surprises on this spec sheet, but some of the requirements here might make some budget builds sweat. For example, you’ll need 16GB of RAM to run the game, but for the most part it’ll be a relatively inexpensive upgrade. The same goes for storage: you’ll need 100 GB of free space, and developer Arkane Studios strongly recommends installing the game on an SSD.
The now-obsolete Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 and AMD Radeon RX 580 should provide enough pixel-count-boosting power for you to have some vampire-hunting fun, but we don’t yet know what resolution or quality setting performance they’ll use. While not confirmed, we assume that Redfall will feature Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD FSR upscaling technologies, as well as ray tracing features, as featured in Arkane’s previous work, Deathloop.
