AMD’s next line of Ryzen 7000X3D gaming processors has a release date and will arrive just in time for Valentine’s Day. Zen 4 starters aim to appeal to PC enthusiasts with 3D V-Cache and a lower TDP than existing 7000X chips, but we’re still waiting for official pricing.
If you’re having a Valentine’s date with your PC, AMD’s best gaming CPU contender can help spice things up. However, if you’ve ever seen Intel show off its 6GHz alternative, you might be waiting for the next blue team processor. That’s if the i9-13000KS is really coming anytime soon, as the blue team remains mum about its release plans.
If you’re not aware of the holiday, Valentine’s Day is February 14, and the AMD Ryzen 7000X3D update suggests that its chips will also go on sale. Originally discovered by Overclock3D, the release date information has since disappeared from the red team’s page, but is still visible via time travel on the internet.
AMD claims that its new leader, the Ryzen 9 7950X3D, outperforms the Core i9-13900K by offering 29% better performance in esports games like Rainbow Six: Siege. We’ll have to test these claims for ourselves when it hits the gaming PC battlefield, which will help us benchmark it against the i9-13000KS in the future.
Naturally, price will play into the success of the X3D, and AMD has already proven itself as the budget champ with its recently launched Ryzen 7000 line and continues the never-ending fight for the CPU crown.
