Guardians are leaving competitive Fortnite

Fortnite player born in 2002, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf is no longer a Sentinels player.. This was announced by the Director General of the organization, Rob Moorewhich through a note issued on Twitter announced that the North American esports organization will be leaving competitive Fortnite entirely. This statement:

“As our organization charts the future, our strategy is to focus on games that provide an opportunity to activate our sponsors or offer team-branded gaming content. Fortnite offered neither. Today I am announcing that we will no longer be participating in Fortnite. We thank our players, especially Kyle “Bugoo” Giersdorf, who brought the Sentinels their first major championship by winning the 2019 World Championship.”
