House of the Dragon and HBO’s Skyrim share a fixation on mythical fire beasts, and now a Skyrim mod combines the two properties. The Conquest Trio mod adds three dragons from Dragon’s House to the open-world RPG, and the results are impressive.
HotD Dragons – Conquest Trio includes Vhagar, Balerion the Black Dread, and Meraxes for Skyrim that replace the three existing dragons. Wander replaces Paarthurnax, Balerion replaces Alduin, and Meraxes replaces the legendary dragon in Dawnguard.
Modder archlyde123 based this version of the House of the Dragon trio on KaienHash’s original Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon mods, making some adjustments to the proportions of the wings and head to better match the dragons on screen and in the images of the Series.
The mod makes the game’s dragon heads slightly smaller, shrinking them to 80% of their normal size and increasing the size and length of their tails. Archlyde123 has also updated the look of their wings.
You can find the House of the Dragon mod by archlyde123 on Nexus Mods and you will need textures from GoT Dragons (Game of Thrones) or GoT Dragons 16k – 8k from XilaMonstrr to make it look good.
There is also a Talkative Dragons mod for Skyrim if you want to have livelier conversations.
