Dying Light 2’s Christmas event involves the nutcrackers and evil elves

Nutcrackers, goblins, giant angry snowdrifts – it looks like Dying Light 2’s Christmas event has already begun. The zombie game’s seasonal event is a festive Last City makeover, with base thugs dressed as evil elves and destroyers decked out in sparkling Christmas lights. None of them really boosted morale, but you can get a free Nutcracker cosmetic pack for participating in a limited-time event.

In Winter Tales, Aiden competes with festive versions of the enemies from Dying Light 2: Rogue Bolters, Rogue Helpers, and Uncle Snows. Everyone goes into Grinch mode, stealing candy and holiday gifts, and it’s up to Aiden to get them back.

Baka the Wretched, the wandering sweet tooth from Dying Light 2, is back and can be found in the bazaar – the caged mutant will have more on what to expect during Winter Tales.

By bringing gifts to Baka, you can receive the new Nutcracker Pack, which includes the Nutcracker mask for Aiden, the Nutcracker Paraglider, and a mace ornament that looks like a big spiky Christmas decoration. For the skin, you will need to evolve Buck to the fifth level of merchant. The paraglider can be unlocked by collecting 20 stolen gifts from all over the city.

The mace will be unlocked for everyone by collecting six million gifts during the event, which runs until January 5.

Take a look at our best PC settings for Dying Light 2 to ensure you get the highest FPS possible for this festive event.
