TEKKEN 7 celebrates 10 million copies sold and gets a new update

BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America has just announced the release of the latest update for TEKKEN 7, responsible for adding features such as streaming mode, new customization items, and improvements to character selection. Update to version 5.10 is now available for PlayStation®4, Xbox One and PC via Steam®.

In addition to that, the game also marks the recent milestone of 10 million units sold worldwide. The following are the changes that will be implemented in the update to version 5.10:

  • Streaming mode: This new mode is available in the game settings. When streaming mode is activated, the enemy ID/GameTag on the VS screen and on the battle screen in Ranked Matches, Player Matches, and Kick-Off Matches will be changed to the character’s name.
  • Item customization and extended character selection: Items for customization in the character panel have been expanded. On the character selection screen, players can save their favorite characters and outfit combinations and select them with just one button. Also added is a feature that allows you to remember the last outfits used in each game session.
  • Custom Championship Rules: New modifications to the championship settings are available in the game settings. With Championship Settings enabled, players will not be able to use the following character features in Versus battles: Favorites, Clothing Choice, and Last Weared.
  • Updated display of connection status information: Changes to the display of connection status information include the addition of information showing the processing percentage of PCs used in a match, as well as improvements to text formatting.
