A festive series of limited-time arcade modes has arrived in Overwatch 2 Winter Wonderland, running through January 4 in Blizzard’s multiplayer FPS game. Winter Wonderland modes include Mei’s Snowball Attack, Mei’s Yeti Hunt, and Ice Thaw End, plus a new batch of festive cosmetic rewards.

Mei’s snowball offensive turns the weapon in the weatherman’s freezer into a snowball launcher. A single snowball blast knocks the opponent off their feet, and you can choose between 6v6 elimination or eight-player deathmatch rule sets.

In Mei’s Yeti Hunt, five players face off against a terrifying Bigfoot. A large yeti attacks a local village in search of meat, and the team must set traps and try to freeze the beast. The problem is that if the Yeti manages to eat too much meat, he will go into a murderous rage, during which he will easily destroy his team.

Freeze Elimination is a form of Freeze where you freeze your opponents and unfreeze your teammates trapped in ice. The goal is to freeze the entire enemy team.

Festive cosmetics this season include regular weapon charms, player icons, and sprays, as well as an epic new Ice Queen skin for Brigitte.

Find out everything we know about Overwatch 2 Season 2, as well as Ramattra’s ability set, before we get started.
