AMD Ryzen 7000 Gaming Processor Prices Are Still Below MSRP

AMD Ryzen 7000 prices were expected to drop on Black Friday, but the Red Team line of gaming processors is still available below suggested retail price. Although the seasonal sale will often continue beyond the original date, there is reason to believe that the red team will maintain the discounts for now.

AMD’s latest chip may be the best contender for gaming CPUs, but production has reportedly slowed down due to a lack of interest. Furthermore, the lineup received 30% shortly before Black Friday, despite only appearing on the scene two months prior.

Black Friday 2022 is drawing to a close, but Ryzen 7000 processors apparently haven’t gotten the heads up. Videocardz reports that several retailers are still selling the chips at discounted prices, including AMD’s Official Store, Best Buy, and Newegg. Discounted up to $125, the Ryzen 9 7950X is 17.8% off MSRP.

Again, some Black Friday deals last a week or two after the event, but some retailers have removed any mention of the original deal. In other words, the lower price tags can stay, not a temporary offer.

For now, it looks like there could be a permanent reduction in the cards, as the faster AMD 7000X3D processors are expected to arrive in early 2023. Non-X variants of Zen 4 will also arrive next month, and their arrival could mark the beginning. a return to post-Black Friday prices. However, the red team faces fierce competition from Intel and its army of Raptor Lake chips, so a low price could prove an invaluable weapon.
