The Destiny 2 Shadowevil Triumph Hunter has completed all active Triumphs in the popular FPS game, ending a long and difficult yet rewarding series of challenges that puts you among the elite gamers to accomplish an impressive feat.

There are hundreds of Triumphs in Destiny 2, some of which include difficult achievements like getting Flawless in dungeons and Flawless in solo raids. Flawless means performing these actions, which are already some of the hardest in the game, without dying. However, with hard work and the help of a close-knit firefighting team, Shadowevil was able to take them all down.

“I would say the advice I can give players is to practice the gear and the mods. They are the most important ingredient for flawless single player content.” says PCGamesN. “And for flawless raids, all you need is competent equipment and mechanical knowledge. My best advice is to take your time and play very passively. The dungeons don’t have a clear timer, so you don’t have to be in such a rush.”

While accounts differ based on how many people have completed all active Triumphs, one thing is for sure: only a small portion of the Destiny 2 player base has. Shadowevil says that he began his journey in season 15 and focused on completing various challenges throughout the seasons as they became available.

Due to Destiny 2’s Content Vault system, some Triumphs from previous seasons and DLC packs are not available. For example, Triumphs related to areas removed from the game, such as Io, Mars, Mercury, and Tangled Shores, cannot be obtained. However, completing all of the active Triumphs is still a great achievement, as many of them require a high level of skill and willpower to perform actions that may be exciting at first but fade over time.

In a Reddit post with Triumphs garnering over a thousand upvotes, Shadowevil shared that the Loot Season Triumphs are the ones that were almost too big for him. He points out that these triumphs were not so much difficult as tedious.

“That’s 150 emotes at the end of a seasonal job, and 250 champions in a job where you get 0-2 on average, with a mechanic to get more if you delay your training. So it’s really more [a matter] turn off your brain,” he says.

Seasonal activities last at least 10 minutes each. Shadowevil probably spent at least 250 hours doing emotional activity alone, the equivalent of more than ten days. Ultimately, he sees integrity in himself as the reason he sought to pursue all active wins.

He says that of all the Triumphs, he found the Garden of Salvation Triumph “Stop Beating Yourself” the most difficult. The challenge is to defeat the Hallowed Mind boss after killing 20 fighters with Vex Instancing. This can be tricky, as it can be difficult to build and rebuild platforms to match the raid mechanic.

Shadowevil says it took a lot of trial and error to get it, noting that “you have to force the fight back and a lot to prepare for.”

Although Shadowevil streams on Twitch and has an active YouTube channel, his content is mostly focused on games in the Borderlands series. According to his Twitch profile, he created an unofficial community patch for Borderlands 2. Most of his YouTube content is dedicated to the Borderlands modding community.

Plunder Season is coming to an end and there is still time for players to complete Seasonal Triumphs.
