Charlie Sirk and Claudia Beaton talk about the new ESL Impact 2023 program. Meanwhile, it must be said that in recent years, major esports organizations have been creating women’s formations, while the women’s esports scene has seen a growing interest in and investment in games such as VALORANT, CS:GO and many others.
Charlie Sirk, Product Manager, Gaming Ecosystems – CS:GO at ESL FACEIT Group, said: “It’s amazing to see how the right infrastructure has already helped countless women focus on what they love and take their skills to the next level. From single women dramatically improving their gaming experience to some of the big esports organizations investing in an all-female roster – there have already been more success stories in 2022 than we could have imagined, and we look forward to further expanding the network in 2023 and beyond.”
ESL Impact was launched in early 2022 and is one of the #GGFORALL ESL FACEIT Group initiatives.
“ESL Impact has not only made a big mark on the esports industry, but also opened up many opportunities for women (and men) from all walks of life to actively participate behind the scenes, making the ESL FACEIT Group more diverse and inclusive.”Claudia Beaton, Vice President of Human Resources and Culture at ESL FACEIT Group, said. “We look forward to seeing what positive changes other and future #GGFORALL initiatives will bring.”
