AMD Ryzen 7000X3D processors may have eight cores for now

It’s all but confirmed that the AMD Ryzen 7000 series will support 3D V-Cache-equipped models in the future, and future rumored chip specs are now leaking online. Oddly enough, the red team isn’t planning to be that ambitious with their initial update to Zen 4 3D.

AMD’s line of Ryzen 7000X3D processors could push Team Red to the top of the race for the best gaming processor for boosting frame rates, mainly thanks to V-Cache 3D.

According to source ECSM_Official, we can expect the 6-core and 8-core AMD Ryzen 7000X3D CPU models to be “introduced in the mid to late first half of 2023.” However, that doesn’t mean the best CPU with 3D V-Cache will be an octa-core, just “no news for the former”.

Given the timing, the capabilities of these Ryzen 7000X3D chips will be tested by the faster 13th Gen Intel Core processors that will be released next year. We hope that the performance issues of the Windows 11 22H2 update will be resolved long ago so that both series have an equal chance of winning.
