“We would like to respond to rumors about Nova Esports, TOC Recon Esports and the fate of Mainland China in the Brawl Stars World Finals. In early October, RCN management was notified about the situation at Nova Esports and the potential impossibility of business trips for players from its roster. Nova Esports OU was originally supposed to be traveling with some of our players as a combined team to deal with travel restrictions in China under the Nova name.
As of November 1, it has been confirmed that RCN TOC will replace Nova Esports and represent mainland China at the World Finals in Paris. As many of you already know, OU was denied a visa earlier this month. Our player Koalano was also refused a visa. Due to unfavorable circumstances, our team will be playing with both live and remote players: Goodnight and White from RCN TOC will be able to travel to Paris, while Koalano and Imp will play remotely.
We understand that this is a difficult situation and we truly believe that Nova deserves to be taken care of. This is the second time in a row that they have not been able to compete at the highest level, and for that reason we give them the utmost respect.
